SAR CELEBRATES 11TH ANNIVERSARY. 1ST
JULY 2008

Globstar Ltd, Hong Kong Office will be closed on 1st
July 2008 (Tuesday) due to the public holiday to remark the 11th
Anniversary of the establishment of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and
Reunification with China.
Huge Shortage for Apple I-phones:
We
have noted a very high demand for the Apple i-phones since the second half of
May 2008. This is mainly due to the shortage or no supply of the 8GB and 16GB
i-phones from Apple. It is expected to launch the 3G version of the i-phones by
mid July in few countries including Hong Kong.
It
may be noted that the i-phone prices (for the 8 GB) has increased from around
USD450 in around early June 2008 to USD700 by end June 2008. We need to wait
and see the impact of the launch of new 3G version i-phones on this price
trend and even on the demand for other models like Nokia N95 8gb
